Ray Heimann

Ray Heimann is a private equity professional with deep experience in acquisitions strategy, deal structuring, and portfolio management. Ray began his career in JP Morgan’s Corporate and Investment Banking team, focusing on US REITs. He then moved to Booz & Company’s corporate and acquisitions strategy desk, where he advised on over $3.5B of corporate M&A. After that, he joined Sverica Capital, a lower middle market private equity firm focused on driving value through deal sourcing and acquisitions, where he closed on over $750M of acquisitions. With 10+ years in real estate, private equity, and investment banking, Ray is thrilled to be leveraging his background for Terra Capital’s investors. Ray holds a B.A. in Mathematics and Philosophy from Columbia University.

Tom Higgins

Tom Higgins is one of the new generation’s leading experts on multifamily real estate. Tom is an accomplished real estate entrepreneur who owns more than 200 units of multifamily. As Co-Founder of Terra Capital, Tom has played a vital role in creating one of the most innovative real estate companies in the United States. Before Co-Founding Terra, Tom spent ten years working for some of the largest and most successful Real Estate Brokers, Investors, and Development Companies, building over 2,000+ multifamily units and acquiring the knowledge necessary to lead Terra’s first-class operations. Tom is also a Licensed Real Estate Broker with prior experience working in Luxury Sales and Rentals at BHS. Tom holds a B.A. in Economics and Philosophy from Columbia University.

Previous Notable Multifamily Projects: While working for the Lennar Corporation, Tom worked on developing The Symth, The Lively, The Mitchell, and Laurel Saddlewood. While at Rose Associates, Tom worked on the renovation and adaptive reuse of 70 Pine.
